Gulf Productions represents the leading edge in underwater photography of offshore oil and gas platforms in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. Founded by Allen Walker, Gulf Productions has been working to provide evidence of the massive ecosystems created and maintained by the 4,000 offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico.
Gulf Productions prides itself as a helpful resource for generating documentary evidence pivotal to our understanding of the remarkable platform ecosystems. Already Gulf Productions has collected video evidence that 
demonstrates that 7 species of egg laying planktivors (Pomacentridae) colonize the platforms and that the structures are serving as surrogate nesting grounds to the drifting larvae of several species of Caribbean fish. We can provide footage that observes platforms sustaining schools of thousands of adult herbivores and planktivors as they graze along the legs and transoms. We have many more fascinating accounts on film of coral, "live rock" organisms, endangered species, and protected fish flourishing on the offshore structures.
